Six Fragments of Time is a series of six short movements for medium sized orchestra, written in 2009. The movements are called Time is an Illusion, Time Flies By, Time is Dragging, Passage of Time, Towards Timelessness and Race Against Time.
Each movement lasts just over 1.25 minutes and shows that our perspective of time is dependant on our circumstances.
The orchestra consists of double woodwind, 4 horns, a pair each of trumpets and trombones, timpani, 2 percussionists and strings.
