Additional Information
This piece exploits the relationship between physical and musical space as experienced by the audience. It grew out of experimentation with the notion of perspective in both audio and visual terms, so that there is a tension in the work between what the eye perceives as foreground, for instance, and what the ear hears. The conflation of the visual (including what is hidden) and the aural is explored in this work, suggestive of the theatricality of musical performance.
