Chorale Prelude on St Clement (1982)

This organ piece was written in memory of my grandmother. It is based upon her favourite hymn, "The day thou gavest Lord, is ended". It is a serial composition and all the material is derived from the hymn tune. The tune is heard in its original form towards the end of the piece.
