Additional Information
This short Elegy for piano was originally written in 1976 for harp solo. In 2009, I decided it would work better on the piano, but only after some major changes,
The work consists of a number of short elements, including a chord in the bass that symbolises the tolling of a funeral bell every 10 seconds. The various elements unfold in the manner of a mosaic.
