Additional Information

Jubilee is a short piece for voices and percussion originally written to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the reign of HRH Queen Elizabeth II in 2002.  It may, however, be performed at any celebration, or to provide an atmosphere of celebration and joy.

Much of the vocal writing is spoken and very rhythmic.  The vocalists are even required to clap and are encouraged to play percussion instruments themselves.  Although not technically demanding, this piece can be tackled by an amateur group with a strong sense of rhythm.
