Supplication for Peace is for two guitars and was originally written in 1978 with the title ‘Prayer for Peace’.  The new title was made in 2012, along with some revisions.  It lasts around eight and a quarter minutes.

The piece is in three sections: first a slow Prelude, serving as a kind of meditation, followed without a break by a fast spritely dance.  Both sections prepare us for the final section, a choral, which depicts a world of total peace and harmony.
