A freestanding piece written as a "thank you" present for a very good friend who provided tickets for the ballet. The 2nd violin part is much easier than the 1st (which is really suitable for a professional) and the harp part may be performed by a harpist of Grade VII/VIII standard.  The instrumentation of the bass clarinet may be switched with a clarinet, bassoon or saxophone, ad lib.
