Trigon is a short piece for Clarinet in Bb and piano, in the structure of a set of variations on the first bar. Each variation is one bar longer than the previous variation.

Triangular numbers are the result of adding consecutive numbers starting from 1. A Trigon was an ancient triangular instrument.
