This set of Two Communion Anthems was written in 1974 and revised in 2010.  It is intended to be sung during the Church of England’s Holy Communion Service.  The composer wrote the words for both anthems so as to introduce the concept of communion from different viewpoints.

The set is written for unaccompanied SATB choir and lasts four and a half minutes.  They may be sung either separately or together.
