stars-in-a-high-wind

Additional Information

Stars in a High Wind was partly inspired by the book ‘Wind, Sand, and Stars’ by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. His descriptions of the timelessness of flying, of the physical and metaphysical detachment from the earth in conjured up in the music that builds with a gradual intensity and yet always remains static.

The BBC National Orchestra of Wales made a studio recording in 2000.
