The Hanging-Cloud Bridge is an early piece of mine that was written around the same time as works like Invisible Cities and Stars in a High Wind. It was first performed by Marshall Mcguire in an Australian Radio Corporation broadcast in 1999. In more recent times it featured in Elisabeth Remy’s concert programme (Elisabeth is principle harp of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and has previously recorded three of my flute and harp pieces on her last CD).

The theme of Elisabeth’s concert was to do with the creative mind, as well as consciousness and meditation. As part of this she commissioned the French film maker Alban Roinard to make a short video in which I talk about the piece;
