My Symphony No 4 was written in East Barnet n 1975 and revised in 1980. It is dedicated to my friend and fellow composer, Dr Robert Simpson. 

It is in four movements, the third and fourth being played without a break: 

1. Metamorphoses 

2. Elegy

3. Scherzo malevolo

4. Passacaglia, variations and epilogue
